Shaun White Takes Gold In Slopestyle After Three Year Hiatus

Shaun White took his second gold in as many days at the Tignes Winter X Games today when he returned to the snowboard slopestyle for the first time since 2009. His second run brought him a best of 97.00, comfortably seeing off the advances of Mark McMorris (90.00) and Eric Willett (88.00) who came second and third. 

White said, “These guys have been pushing the limits of what’s possible in the Slopestyle course and they put the gauntlet in front of me. I think I’ve finally caught up and I’m happy to be back.”
